Digital X-Ray

Instead of asking you to bite down on a sharp and uncomfortable piece of film, we take your dental x-rays quickly and conveniently with the latest in digital technology. With digital x-rays, our dental professionals simply slip a sensor into your mouth. Your x-ray appears almost instantly on our computer so we can better explain to you what we see. Our digital x-ray system provides excellent images, with 80% less radiation than conventional x-rays.

Intra-oral Camera

The Intra-Oral camera is a tiny video camera that looks like a pen. With this camera, you will gain a much more thorough understanding of all the intricacies of your smile, and can spot and begin treatments for dental problems such as worn-out, defective fillings, fractured teeth, decay, bleeding gums, and plaque, long before they would have been detected with a traditional visual exam. The technique is completely painless and involves no radiation. It is also unique in that it allows you to see and better understand your dental treatment plan.

Nitrous Oxide

Neglecting your dental care can lead to serious problems with your oral health. If anxiety has caused you to forgo a trip to the dentist, you will be happy to know that we offer nitrous oxide to help eliminate some of your anxiety. Nitrous Oxide, also known as laughing gas, is administered through an inhaler. It is very effective at relieving anxiety.

Digital Impressions

At our office, we are proud to offer goop-free, digital impressions. Not only is a digital impression more comfortable, it’s also much more accurate. Once the scan is complete, Dr. Kotecha will then have a 3D model of your mouth that can be used to create a detailed crown, bridges, implants, Invisalign clear aligners and retainers.
